Hans Volkert Volckens has been appointed chief financial officer (CFO) and board member of Vienna-listed real estate company CA Immo to replace Florian Nowotny who has resigned.

CA Immo said that Volckens is an expert in the areas of law, taxes, accounting and management of real estate enterprises in challenging times.
The company's supervisory board acknowledged the decision by Nowotny to, at his own request, 'prematurely' resign as a member of the executive board and CFO on 30 September 2016.
Founded in 1987, CA Immo's core core business involves leasing, managing and developing office buildings. The company controls property assets of around €3.7 bn in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe.
