Valad Europe has appointed Robin Macpherson as head of risk, Europe.
Reporting directly to David Kirkby, CEO, Europe, Macpherson will be responsible for all aspects of risk management affecting the European business. The role will include leading and overseeing legal and compliance issues and ensuring standards of corporate governance.
'This appointment demonstrates our commitment to implementing robust and transparent risk management procedures across the business particularly in light of increasing regulation facing the industry,' commented David Kirkby, CEO of Valad Europe.
'Robin has extensive experience in this area from the work he has carried out in previous roles and will now play an important role as we scale our Funds Management business and continue to strengthen our European platform as part of Cromwell Property Group,' Kirkby added.
Macpherson joins Valad from RBS where he was head of legal.
