Unibail-Rodamco has officially named Christophe Cullivier as its new CEO, replacing Guillaume Poitrinal who will step down on 25 April.

Poitrinal hands over the reins after leading the listed European property giant for seven years. He recruited Cuvillier two years ago as chief operating officer and groomed him for the top job.

Unibail-Rodamco said that the supervisory board had confirmed Cuvillier's appointment as CEO.

The supervisory board also renewed the management board mandates of Catherine Pourre (chief resources officer) and Jaap Tonckens (chief financial officer).

Jean-Marie Tritant was appointed to the board as chief operating officer to replace Cuvillier.

The supervisory board made two further appointments to the management board. Olivier Bossard was named chief development officer and Fabrice Mouchel deputy chief financial officer.
