The UK has won nine awards at the 2009 International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) European Solal Marketing Awards. The UK won more awards than any other country.
The ICSC said the Solal Marketing Awards bring together the very best of retail marketing across Europe, recognising best practice and rewarding those with the most effective campaigns.
In all, 119 entries were received from shopping centres across Europe - more than ever before, with shopping centres from twelve countries across Europe triumphing in the awards. The first shopping centre in Romania has also won an ICSC Solal Marketing Award.
All the winners automatically qualify for entry into the internationally-acknowledged ICSC MAXI Awards which recognise excellence in shopping centre marketing across the world.
