Martin Brühl's move to Union Investment from Cushman & Wakefield is one of the major moves in the European real estate sector so far this year.

Union Investment Real Estate hired Brühl FRICS to head its new international investment management department. He will be responsible for managing Union Investment's real estate investments in the UK, the Americas and Asia.

At Cushman & Wakefield, Martin Brühl was a managing partner in charge of the company's business operations in Germany and was part of Cushman & Wakefield's European management team from 2007.
