Private property investment company Boultbee said on Thursday that its Skarholmen shopping centre has just re-opened in Stockholm following a ten year refurbishment programme. The property, which was bought by Boultbee last year, is the largest shopping mall in Sweden with 200 stores and a total lettable retail area of 1.2 million sq ft.

Brands such as German retailers New Yorker and, a first for Europe, Limited Too, have come to the newly opened centre, joining fashion chains such as Oasis, Warehouse, Monki, and TAF.

Skarholmen was first opened in 1968, at which time it was the biggest shopping centre in Europe.
