Global IT company Sun Microsystems is moving from Buda Business Center in Budapest to TriGránit's Millennium Tower II. The tenant was represented by Jones Lang LaSalle, while Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord in the office leasing transaction.

The relocation to 1,136 m2 office in Millennium Tower II will take place during summer 2009. The US company said it will introduce a new office fit-out standard at its new location called Next Gen. The system, which places particular emphasis on protection of the environment and the use of recyclable furniture and carpeting, is used by Sun Microsystems at all its offices around the world.

Located on the East bank of the River Danube in Pest, Millennium Tower II offers 20,000 m2 of office space with a three-storey underground garage, café-restaurant, fitness centre, banking services and cultural and conference facilities offered by the National Theatre and the Palace of Arts. The eight-storey office building was designed by the FIABCI award winner Schön Architects.
