Sonae Sierra's affiliate Sierra Cevital has been appointed by Algerian group Prombati to manage and commercialise the new Park Mall project in Sétif. Scheduled to open in June 2014, the scheme will have 30,000 m2 of total gross lettable area over 100 shops.
'This contract demonstrates the success of Sierra Cevital's first year of activity in the country, and reinforces our commitment with local and international investors,' commented Vitor Nogueira, responsible for the management of shopping centres in Algeria, Greece, Italy and Morocco.
Sonae Sierra entered the Algerian market in 2012 with the creation of Sierra Cevital to provide development, management and marketing services for shopping centres.
Sierra Cevital represents a partnership between Sonae Sierra and Algerian group Cevital. The company manages Uno Shopping Center in Mostaganem; Uno Shopping Center in Ain Defla, and Uno Shopping Center in Bouira.
