The two Shariah-compliant investors are acquiring Celtic Business Park, which is located in Newport, 19 kilometres northeast of Cardiff.
The property comprises three Grade-A office buildings over a total area of 14,244 m2. At least part of the investment volume will be financed through a Shariah-compliant facility.
Rasmala is an investment management group listed on London's AIM junior exchange. The company’s origination and structuring teams worked with the placement team at GII to close the transaction, the buyers said in a statement.
GII, a UAE-based Islamic financial services company, plans to work with Rasmala to acquire further real estate assets in the UK, Continental Europe and the US in 2016.
