Property adviser Newsec has announced that budget clothing retailer H&M is expanding into Lithuania and will open its first store in the capital Vilnius next autumn.
'Customers as well as retail chains have been waiting for H&M to come to Lithuania. Our rich experience as intermediator for international companies expanding in the Baltic countries allowed us to bring one of the world's most popular fashion brands,' said Andrius Vitkus, head of agency at Newsec for the Baltic region.
With a floor space of 3,500 m2, Lithuania's first H&M store at Akropolis shopping mall in Vilnius will be the largest in the Baltic States.
Newsec has already acted for New Yorker, Marks and Spencer and other international brands in their expansion in Lithuania.
