Prologis has named Charles Sullivan as the new head of global operations in the latest management reshuffle at the global provider of distribution facilities.

He replaces Diane Paddison, who, according to a statement issued by Prologis, is resigning to pursue other opportunities from 6 February. Sullivan, 51, has been with Prologis since 1994 and was most recently managing director with overall responsibility for the company's operations in North America. In his new role, Sullivan will have overall responsibility for global operations, including the coordination of property management and leasing, information technology, marketing and global customer relationships.

The appointment follows two other senior management changes at Prologis in recent months. In November, Jeffrey Schwartz resigned as the company's chairman and CEO as Prologis began adjusting its strategy to cope with the global economic downturn. Walter Rakowich, a former president and chief operating officer, replaced him.

Prologis' European arm, Prologis European Properties, announced in January that Peter Cassells, PEPR's chief financial officer, was moving to fill the post of CEO at PEPR. He replaced Gordon Keiser, who retired.
