Aberdeen Property Fund Pan-Nordic have acquired an office portfolio in southern Stockholm from Sweden’s Niam Fund III for an undisclosed sum. The portfolio comprises 70,000 m2 of lettable space, 93% of which is modern office space.

The eight properties were originally bought by Niam Fund III and the Goldman Sachs managed Whitehall Real Estate Funds in a joint venture in 2005. Johan Bergman, managing director of Niam, said: 'The property and capital markets are facing new conditions. By selling now we secure that our investors get a good return on their money.'

The closing will take place on 5 March 2008.
