Multi Development and its partners, the City of Bad Kreuznach and Volksbank Rhein-Nahe-Hunsr眉ck, have presented plans for the development of a downtown quarter with a shopping centre in Bad Kreuznach, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
Multi Development and its partners, the City of Bad Kreuznach and Volksbank Rhein-Nahe-Hunsr眉ck, have presented plans for the development of a downtown quarter with a shopping centre in Bad Kreuznach, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
The project, representing an investment of some EUR 70 mln, will have a rental area of around 15,000 m2 for retailers, restaurants, services and housing. About 50 rental units are planned, including an existing Kaufhof department store which is to be expanded and integrated into the project. In addition, an area of 1,400 m2 will be dedicated to a new sports hall for the school adjacent to the project. The site will also offer 320 parking spaces.
Construction is slated to begin in the first quarter of 2014 with completion during the second quarter of 2016.
