La Française REM has bought an office project in Nantes from developer Adim Ouest. Financial details were not disclosed.
Designed by architects Barré-Lambot, the Nouvelle Vague development is located in the new Euro Nantes district of the French city, and will provide 9,200 m2 of usable office space and 125 parking spots on completion in the first quarter of 2014. The asset is targeting BBC and BREEAM Very Good environmentally-sustainable ratings.
Construction of the project started in June 2012.
The deal follows shortly after La Française REM's purchase of Latitudes office complex in the business park near the Montpellier airport from the European Added Value Fund (EAVF) managed by AXA Real Estate. The scheme, delivered in 2008, was acquired by EAVF in a forward-funding transaction in 2006.
