Knight Frank has appointed Javier Catena as partner and new head of retail projects in Spain.
He will have direct responsibility on the letting department and will focus on strengthening the retail business of the company with the aim of increasing the client base.
Catena, aged 42, has over 19 years of experience in the retail property sector having worked for a number of companies including Carrefour, Promodeico, ING Real Estate and Inmobiliaria ChamartÃn
José DÃaz-Merediz will continue as head of retail management.
Knight Frank manages 16 shopping centres in Spain with over 800,000 m2 of gross lettable area.
