Jan Doets, a former chairman of ING Global Real Estate, has been recruited by US industrial property developer IDI as an adviser to the firm's investment management group. 'Jan Doets' experience as the former director of ING Global Real Estate from 1996 to 2005 provides extra depth to advise in relation to investment, management and investment of high-quality logistics facilities on behalf of European investors,' IDI President and CEO Tim Gunter said.

IDI has also taken on Will McIntosh, another former ING executive and former deacon at the University of Cincinnati's College of Business to advise on the creation of IDI Research, a new research platform for the firm's investment arm. IDI Research will analyse the market potential of investments for IDI and institutional investors from 2010 onwards.
