Internos Real Investors has boosted its team with five new appointments across Europe, including a fund manager in the UK and a managing director in the Netherlands.

Internos is a EUR 2.1 bn pan-European real estate investment management business.

In the UK, Steven Faber has joined the fund management team. Faber will be responsible for devising and implementing a UK fund strategy and building its UK assets under management. Prior to joining Internos, he worked for RREEF for nine years as head of UK asset management and as a portfolio manager.

Hugo van der Goes has been appointed managing director of Internos in the Netherlands. He will be responsible for building and leading the Dutch business, securing new capital and mandates.

Van der Goes started his career in 1987 in the banking industry where he was employed by the Credit Lyonnais Group for eight years. Following this, he spent four years with ING Real Estate Finance as the Area Head of Central Netherlands and International Finance before accepting a managing director role with Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank, and subsequently Nemaco Development. More recently, he spent six years with IVG Immobilien where he was appointed director of European portfolios and managing director of the Netherlands and France.

Also joining the Amsterdam office is Pamela de Lange Storck as senior financial controller, responsible for the EIRE and Alecta portfolios. She has a number of years of international accounting experience having previously worked for DTZ in Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Budapest, and most recently as a consultant in Chicago and Malaysia.

François Lay will join the Paris team as an asset manager, having spent the past four years with Rynda France SAS as a property manager. Lay previously worked for Drivers Jonas as a consultant.

In Luxembourg, Susanne Merz has joined the team to provide office management and paralegal support. She previously worked for Citco REIF Services Luxembourg as a legal assistant.
