The European Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles (INREV) has appointed Lonneke Löwik as director of Research and Market Information. The role oversees the association’s research agenda as well as the collection of key market information via the INREV Vehicles Database and the INREV Index.

Prior to joining INREV, Löwik led the European infrastructure market research for RREEF in London. Her responsibilities include contribution to strategic business planning for new fund products, ongoing market assessment, analysing wider industry trends and institutional investor advice on infrastructure investment issues. On joining RREEF in 2004, Löwik's focus was on real estate research before going on to specialise in the infrastructure market, which forms part of the RREEF's real estate activities.

Löwik will head up a team of three researchers at INREV. She takes over the role from Andrea Carpenter, following Carpenter’s appointment as director of Professional Standards and Communications, with a focus on events, training and communications. This role was created in line with INREV's increased emphasis on the importance of communication to support the implementation of industry guidelines and to further increase the industry's understanding of the non-listed real estate market through key research projects.
