French listed property group Icade has unveiled its plans for the Sky 56 office development scheme in the Part-Dieu district of Lyon.
Icade, the property arm of Caisse de Depots, is joining forces with Bouygues Construction's Cirmad unit to co-develop the asset which will offer 30,000 m2 of office accommodation on 13 storeys, reaching a height of 56 metres, as well as 330 parking spaces.
Sky 56 has obtained a BREEAM and an HQE Excellent environmental energy certificate. Delivery of the complex is scheduled for mid-2017.
The scheme is the second major development project announced by Icade so far this month. Earlier, the company said it has signed a development contract with AG2R La Mondiale Group to construct a building offering 15,000 m2 of offices and 990 m2 of shops in the new Rive Gauche district of Paris.
Work is due to begin in the second quarter of 2014 for delivery in the third quarter of 2017.
