Hochtief Projektentwicklung has announced that German bank Deutsche Apotheker- und Arztebank is to occupy 3,300 m2 of space at the Altezza project in Munich.
The German bank, which specialises in serving pharmacists and doctors, is to set up an advisory centre in Altezza, with office premises, meeting and conference rooms. The bank will have its own address and separate reception area in the northern wing of the complex. It is scheduled to move in this coming fall.
The new tenancy means that 80% of the Altezza has already been let prior to completion of the complex. The property was sold to ING Real Estate European Office Fund in mid-2007.
The six-storey Altezza is being built on a site of around 11,700 m2 in the Westend district of Munich, at the junction between Landsberger Strasse and Barthstrasse. With gross floor space of about 22,000 m2, the office building consists of two wings connected by a central structure. Distinctive architectural features are the modern clinker brick and glass facade and the striking pent roof. The complex includes an underground garage offering parking spaces for some 260 vehicles.
