ECE Projektmanagement has announced that construction of its latest shopping gallery, a EUR 160 mln investment located at Kaiserslautern, is scheduled to start in spring 2013.
Named 'K in Lautern' after the popular abbreviation of the city's name by Americans based at the Ramstein Air Base, it will open in the fall of 2014.
Located at a prime downtown location, the shopping centre will have around 20,900 m2 of sales area plus 3,200 m2 for services, food and centre management.
The centre will contain around 100 shops and 490 parking spaces. Part of the project is the former Karstadt building with around 12,000 m2 sales area.
