Founded in 1992, DTZ Finland provides valuation and advisory, capital markets, occupier, retail and letting services. Its clients include domestic institutions, listed companies and international investors.

The company had been DTZ's partner in Finland since 2003 and has now been chosen by C&W, following the global merger of C&W and with DTZ in 2015.

'Cushman and Wakefield has a Nordic focus because many of our clients do, and our combined expertise in the region will directly benefit our clients,' said Agneta Jacobsson, head of Sweden and the Nordics for the group. 'Together we are an absolutely outstanding team. Our different local companies come together to create opportunities and new ideas for our clients in the Nordic region.'

Janne Eriksson, managing director of DTZ Finland, now known as Cushman & Wakefield Finland, said: 'It is a great milestone for the development of our company to become part of one of the leading advisory companies in the world,' she said. 'For our clients this is more than a rebranding exercise, as it will give access to better advice, knowledge and research.'

Cushman & Wakefield has a strategy to develop strong partnerships with affiliates across Europe, Africa and the Middle East to extend its delivery into markets where it does not have a wholly owned presence.

This strategy, said John Forrester, CEO EMEA at C&W, 'benefits both local and global clients who gain access to our global network and local knowledge respectively.' In the last few months the group has announced exclusive affiliate arrangements in sub-Saharan Africa, Ireland, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Greece.

Cushman & Wakefield has 43,000 employees in over 60 countries. The group has 399 million m2 under management, $191 (€183 bn) in global transactions and recorded revenue of $5 bn.
