Hans Copier has resigned as country manager for the Netherlands at CBRE Global Investors following disagreement on his future role within the company.

Copier has also stepped down as fund manager of the CBRE Dutch Office Fund, CBRE Dutch Retail Fund and CBRE Dutch Residential Fund.

In a statement CBREGI said Copier's departure was a mutual decision and followed an internal reorganisation 'which highlighted different views over Hans' future role in the business'.

Copier has led the Dutch business for the past six years and helped develop the investment manager's European platform.

The company is in the process of putting in place an effective succession plan for the leadership of the Dutch business and the three Dutch funds.

Pieter Hendrikse, CEO EMEA and Dennis van Vugt, chief financial officer and chief operations officer EMEA, will lead the Dutch business on an interim basis in cooperation with the Dutch management team.

CBRE Global Investors had $92 bn (€71 bn) in assets under management at end-December 2012. The investment manager takes second place in PropertyEU's Top Investors ranking based on European AUM at end-2011.
