Property adviser CBRE has recruited Mikhail Rogozhin and his RTK Group to form a new retail team in Russia.
CBRE Russia had an internal retail team up to 2009. After that CBRE signed affiliation agreement with Magazin Magazinov in February 2009. That agreement was terminated in July 2012.
Founded in 2010, RTK Group provides the full scope of consulting services in leasing and sale of retail premises in shopping centres and mixed-use complexes around Russia.
The team joining CBRE in Russia consists of eight people, including Rogozhin, three associate directors, Nadezhda Tsvetkova, Anastasia Sharkova and Evgeniy Obolentsev and four consultants.
From 1999 to 2010 Rogozhin worked for Jones Lang LaSalle where he was deputy head of the retail department for six years. Over 26 projects totalling 1 million m2 were leased and opened under Rogozhin's management.
According to the latest research by CBRE, the Russian retail market is the most attractive for international non-food retailers due to the strength and pace of the economic development of the country as a whole and consumer retail in particular.
