Investment manager Prupim has appointed CBRE and DTZ to let the 2 Waterhouse Square development in the heart of London's Midtown area.

Comprising 16,800 m2 of prime office space and situated on the doorstep of Chancery Lane tube station, the building houses the largest unit of available Grade A space in Midtown. CBRE and DTZ are seeking either a single occupier or to multi-let the building.

Phillip Howells, Executive Director, West End Agency, CBRE, said: 'The completion of this prestigious building coincides with a real shortage in the West End and Midtown markets of high quality stock with large floorplates.'

Originally designed by renowned Victorian gothic revival architect Alfred Waterhouse in 1879, the landmark London building was substantially redeveloped in 1991, and has now been comprehensively refurbished to provide a high-specification blend of listed and contemporary accommodation.
