AMB Property Europe, the European arm of global distribution group AMB Property Corporation, is developing a 6,290 m[sup]2[/sup] distribution facility for pet and farm animal health care group IDEXX Laboratories in Hoofddorp, a submarket of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The build-to-suit project, named AMB President Distribution Center, will be used to accommodate IDEXX’s expanding business and is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2009.

The AMB development, which will be fitted out with cold and freezer storage facilities, will consist of approximately 5,190 m2 of distribution space and 1,100 m2 of office space. The site is located in the De President industrial park in Hoofddorp.
AMB's portfolio in Europe totals more than 1.2 million m2 of operating and development properties, approximately 315,500 m2 of which is located in the Netherlands.
