AFI Development said it is developing two new shopping centres in Moscow - Mall of Russia and Tverskaya Mall. The projects, totalling retail space of 300,000 m2, consist of a five-level shopping and entertainment complex, located in the centre of the Moscow International Business Center, and the Tverskaya retail complex, to be developed as part of the reconstruction of Tverskaya Zastava Square, a 500,000 m[sup]2[/sup] multistage project including apartments and a hotel. The investment sum for these projects was not revealed.

Mall of Russia, with a total area of 179,000 m2, will become the largest shopping and entertainment project in the centre of Moscow. The shopping gallery will include more than 400 shops, a multiplex cinema, skating rink, more than 50 restaurants and cafes and 2,700 parking spaces. The project will also feature a modern concert hall with 5,500 seats. The centres are scheduled for opening in the fourth quarter of 2009
Colliers International is the exclusive leasing agent of both projects.
