Palmer Capital Partners has been renamed Fiera Real Estate UK and moved to the new London office of its majority owner Fiera Capital.
The Β£870m (β¬1.02bn) real estate fund manager, founded by Ray Palmer in 1992, became part of Canadaβs Fiera Capital in April 2019 when its management sold an 80% stake.
The business has become the UK arm of Fiera Capitalβs C$6bn (β¬4.13bn) real estate fund management business, which has plans to expand globally.
βRebranding to Fiera Real Estate reflects the creation of a new global real estate offering,β said Alex Price, formerly Palmer Capital CEO and now head of Fiera Real Estate UK.
βHowever, whilst we have a new name, our people, entrepreneurial culture and relentless focus on creating sustainable value for stakeholders remains the sameβ said Alex Price, Head of Fiera Real Estateβs UK division.
Fiera Real Estateβs UK division will be located in Fiera Capitalβs new offices in the West End of London.
βWe are very excited to move into this next phase of our evolution in the UK,β said Peter Cuthbert, global head of Fiera Real Estate.
βPalmer Capital has been a great addition to Fiera Real Estate, as we pursue our mission to build a best in class global real estate investment management platform and to better serve our growing international client base.β
The company recently launched the Fiera Real Estate Opportunity Fund V, a UK value-add vehicle with backing from CBRE Global Investment Partners.
It also changed the name of the Palmer Capital Income Fund to Fiera Real Estate Long Lease Fund.
