LABS Collective, owned by billionaire Teddy Sagiβs company Globe Invest, is offering free space in its serviced apartments and flexible offices to the emergency services in London.
The companyβs Camden Campus, part of a pan-European portfolio of real estate owned by Globe Invest subsidiary LabTech, will become a support centre to aid the battle against Coronavirus in the city.
Serviced-apartments at STAY in Hawley Wharf, which opened this month, will be offered to staff working in nearby hospitals, while Camden House and private offices in a number of buildings will be made available for emergency services.
LABS Collective said the 13,000sqft Camden House will become a βcommon roomβ for βthose on the frontlineβ.
Dotan Weiner, chief operating officer at LABS Collective said: βAs a business we talk about how we provide environments for people to thrive and now is our chance to really deliver on that.
βWith the current uncertainty surrounding everyday lives, the need for a community hub of facilities and support has become more important than ever.
βWe know the emergency services across the UK are working tirelessly to cope with the increased demands during the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak and to be able to support by making space and accommodation available is a privilege.β
