Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management (EDR REIM) has acquired a seed portfolio of four assets for a newly launched German residential strategy.
The residential assets in Berlin, acquired through separate transactions, represent the first investment for EDR REIM鈥檚 German Residential Alpha strategy.
The fund manager said the German Residential Alpha strategy is targets mid-market residential assets in 鈥渘eed of active management in Germany鈥檚 core cities which are benefiting from entrenched tenant demand and chronic housing shortage鈥�.
