Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has provided a financing facility of up to $150m (€130.2m) to US distributed energy platform Solar Landscape to support its national solar pipeline.

Provided through CIP’s second credit fund, Green Credit Fund II (CI GCF II), the capital will help Solar Landscape accelerate project development, initially backing a 250MWdc portfolio of mid- and late-stage development assets.

The transaction marks the fourth investment for CI GCF II following its €1.3bn first close in March 2026.

Reiner Boehning, partner at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, said: “Solar Landscape’s rooftop community solar projects are precisely what the market needs right now. On a constrained Pennsylvania-New Jersey-Maryland grid where demand is surging, generation that plugs directly into the local distribution system brings new supply online quickly and lowers costs for ratepayers.

“CIP’s scalable capital will support these projects and the company’s continued growth, and we look forward to building on this partnership in the years ahead.

CIP’s financing follows a series of structured finance transactions completed by Solar Landscape over the past year, including a $600m senior debt facility, a $125m corporate revolving credit facility and a $117m preferred equity investment, bringing its total capital raised over the past three years to more than $2.2bn.

Clayton Avent, CFO of Solar Landscape, said: “As demand for electricity continues to accelerate, the ability to efficiently raise and deploy capital across the totality of the development lifecycle is becoming an increasingly important competitive advantage.

“We deeply appreciate CIP’s partnership in providing us with revolving development capital that increases the throughput of our development platform, allowing us to advance projects more efficiently and bring new distributed energy infrastructure online faster.

“Just as importantly, it reflects the confidence that sophisticated institutional investors have in our structured finance and execution capabilities as well as our long-term growth strategy.
