US real estate investors ABR Capital Partners and Biynah Industrial Partners (BIP) have acquired three additional properties for their transportation-related industrial venture.

The partnership’s Transportation-Related Industrial Portfolio (TRIP) has invested an undisclosed amount to buy a truck terminal in Dallas, Texas, a five-acre truck trailer storage yard in Nashville, Tennessee and a two-building truck terminal with a maintenance facility in Phoenix, Arizona.

TRIP’s portfolio of truck terminals, truck parking and high flow-through industrial assets now includes 17 assets, the companies said, adding that additional acquisition opportunities are actively being pursued by the joint venture.

Jeff Josephs, managing partner at BIP, said: “We continue to engage with sellers of this product type throughout the country and are focused on the continued growth of the TRIP portfolio.â€

Tom Burton, senior managing director and CIO of ABR Capital Partners, said BIP has “done a great job assembling a healthy portfolio and given the strong pipeline we anticipate the momentum will continue.
